Matched co-investment for women-founded and led innovation-driven enterprises raising new capital in Queensland. Grants are provisionally approved and paid once the raise is secured. This grant can be applied towards: - Closing a qualifying equity round (funds paid post-raise; 180 days from provisional approval) -Growth and commercialisation activities in your investment plan
Victorian Production Fund - Games (VicScreen)
Victorian state government grants helping game developers in VIC fund pre-production to release with matched funding and ecosystem support.
The Victorian Production Fund – Games supports Victorian digital games companies and Victorian key creatives to develop and release high-quality, diverse and engaging digital games. The program funds the Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production phases of game development for PC, consoles, mobile, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) or extended reality (XR). Up to $300,000 per stage and up to $500,000 per project is available to be cash-flowed into projects, with the equity remaining with the company or individual.

MVP Ventures Program
NSW Government competitive grant for NSW-based startups to fund early commercialisation ($20K–$75K matched) and advance market readiness.
Supports NSW startups and scaleups to develop and commercialise MVPs (minimum viable products). Round timing varies; check current status before applying. What you get - $25,000–$50,000 in matched funding for eligible project costs. This funding can be used for: - Building and testing Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) - Conducting market validation, testing and developing go-to-market strategies and scaling efforts

CSIRO Kick-Start provides matched funding for start-ups and small to medium enterprises to help access CSIRO's research expertise and capabilities to help grow your business. CSIRO's Kick-Start program helps start-ups and small businesses overcome some of these barriers to pursue R&D activities, by providing an end-to-end facilitation service, including: - help with articulating your research question - connecting businesses with relevant CSIRO researcher expertise and capability - think of us as you in-house R&D division - matched funding support to improve the affordability or expand the scope of R&D services.
