Description
IndieBio is a leading, deep-science and life sciences startup development program run by SOSV that helps founders turn bold scientific discoveries into real companies. Over several months, selected life science, biotech, and bioengineering teams receive intensive mentorship, lab access, and operational support in well-equipped facilities in San Francisco and New York City. IndieBio combines technical expertise, investor exposure, and community to accelerate early-stage biotech startups from prototype to market-readiness with hands-on guidance from industry experts.
Eligibility
IndieBio is best suited for founders who: - Are building biotechnology, life sciences, or similar science-driven ventures with technological or therapeutic innovation. - Have a product concept, prototype, or early proof of concept that requires lab work and scientific validation. - Are prepared to participate in intensive, cohort-based programming with access to lab space and technical support. - Want investment validation, deep industry expertise, and follow-on investor access. - Can engage with the program’s U.S.-based facilities (San Francisco or New York), even if some parts are hybrid or remote
