Description
Tara’s Circle 2026 is an international funding competition for women-led, impact-focused ventures at seed/MVP stage. It awards €100,000 across 15 winners in five areas spanning sustainability, health, social innovation, technology/science, and impact-driven design and culture. Each category awards €10,000 for first place, €6,000 for second and €4,000 for third. Australian founders are explicitly eligible because the program has no geographic restriction. Applications close 17 September 2026 at 12:00 CEST.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a woman aged 18+. - The project must be woman-led: a woman must be a founder/co-founder and actively involved in leading it. - Australian founders can apply — projects can have national or international scope with no geographic restriction. - Must be at seed stage with a defined or functional MVP; idea-only projects don't fit the stated stage requirements. - Must demonstrate social, environmental and/or economic impact, plus scalability and sustainability potential. - Application requires a completed form, pitch deck and a maximum 2-minute elevator pitch.

Fit notes
Good fit if
- Australian women founders with a defined or functional MVP.
- Impact-focused startups across climate, health, social innovation, technology or creative sectors.
- Founders who already have a strong pitch deck and can clearly demonstrate impact.
Probably skip if
- Idea-stage projects without a defined MVP.
- Startups without a woman founder or co-founder in an active leadership role.
Why it matters
The funding is non-repayable and international founders are explicitly eligible. However, this is a competition rather than guaranteed accelerator funding: 15 projects receive awards, with individual prizes ranging from €4K to €10K. The application also requires a full pitch deck and video pitch, so the expected value is lower than top-tier funded accelerators or fellowships.
