Description
The Beta Fellowship is an 8-week in-person fellowship from Beta Fund for founders building agent-native AI startups. The program supports founders who are often at the earliest stages—even before there is a company, revenue or finished idea. Fellows receive mentorship from founders, engineers and investors, work alongside a small cohort, and build within the Beta Fund ecosystem. The fellowship also serves as a pathway to Beta Fund investment, with the fund writing US$200K first checks and investing up to US$2M across pre-seed and seed stages
Eligibility
- Founders building or exploring agent-native AI companies. - Suitable for founders at the idea or very early stage, including before company formation. - Open to founders globally. - Fellowship is delivered in person

Fit notes
Good fit if
- Idea-stage founders exploring agent-native AI startup ideas.
- Technical builders wanting mentorship and an early founder community before raising capital.
- Founders interested in a potential investment path with Beta Fund
Probably skip if
- Startups outside AI or agent-native software.
- Later-stage companies looking for structured growth or customer acquisition programs.
Why it matters
he fellowship is designed around founder formation rather than company acceleration, making it attractive for builders before traditional startup milestones. While Beta Fund is an active AI investor, the fellowship itself is relatively new and its long-term founder outcomes are not yet established
