Startmate Student Founder Bootcamp
Description
Startmate Student Founder Bootcamp is a selective two-week founder bootcamp designed for university students and aspiring founders who want a hands-on introduction to building startups. The program runs during the student holidays and brings together students from diverse disciplines to generate ideas, validate solutions, form teams, and build real prototypes. Participants receive coaching from experienced founders and operators, and at the end of the bootcamp have the chance to pitch to Startmate’s Investment Team — with top teams gaining entry into Startmate’s Launch Club pre-accelerator and potential investment pathways.
Eligibility
Startmate’s Student Founder Bootcamp is suitable for: - Current university students, including undergraduates, postgraduates, and those considering entrepreneurship. - Individuals curious about founding a startup or exploring entrepreneurial thinking, even without a concrete idea yet. - People from any academic background — whether engineering, arts, law, science, business, design, medicine, or beyond — who want practical startup experience. Those who can commit to the two-week schedule (typically held in afternoons and structured to fit around uni commitments). Note: While the program is offered in Australia and New Zealand and may include in-person elements in cities like Sydney or Melbourne, a virtual component and flexible scheduling make participation feasible for many students.
