Description

The Alliance Accelerator is a highly selective 10-week accelerator for crypto and fintech startups, accepting companies across stages from pre-product and pre-revenue onward. The program begins with two weeks in New York City, followed by seven weeks remotely and a final Demo Day in New York. Accepted companies receive US$400,000 immediately via a SAFE at a US$4M post-money valuation, plus a 1:1 token side letter, with another US$400,000 potential follow-on at Seed. Alliance runs three cohorts per year and accepts global participants, making Australian founders explicitly eligible.

Eligibility

- Open to technical founders building ambitious startups; Alliance explicitly accepts teams from pre-product/pre-revenue through later stages. - Focus includes crypto and fintech, while adjacent businesses such as payment APIs, SaaS and AI products can also qualify. - Australian founders can apply: Alliance explicitly describes the program as being for “global participants.” - Solo founders are accepted; a co-founder is not required to apply. - Founders need to participate in the two-week New York onboarding and commit fully to the program. - Applications for ALL19, starting 11 January 2027, are currently due 23 September 2026.

Fit notes

Good fit if

  • Australian crypto or onchain founders from pre-product onward.
  • Technical founders building fintech, payments or crypto infrastructure.
  • Teams seeking both capital and access to specialist crypto investors, founders and partners.

Probably skip if

  • Founders unwilling to spend the initial two weeks in New York.
  • Teams that would not accept Alliance's SAFE and token-side-letter investment terms.

Why it matters

Alliance offers $400K immediately at a $4M post-money valuation plus a potential $400K follow-on at Seed. More importantly, it has an established crypto fundraising network: Alliance reports that its median startup raises $3.5M at a $25M post-money valuation after the program, while companies in its latest cohort averaged more than 50 investor intro requests following Demo Day.
