YCombinator
Description
Y Combinator (YC) is a leading global startup accelerator that supports early-stage companies through a structured program combining funding, mentorship, and access to a powerful founder network. Startups receive seed investment, participate in an intensive 3-month program focused on product and growth, and culminate in Demo Day where they present to a curated audience of top investors. YC has backed many of the world’s most successful technology companies and is known for its founder-first approach and long-term support beyond the program.
Eligibility
Y Combinator is designed for founders at the very beginning of their startup journey — often before revenue and sometimes even before a fully built product. If you’re a small team (or solo founder) with a strong idea, the ability to execute quickly, and the ambition to build a large, venture-scale company, you’re a typical YC applicant. You don’t need to be incorporated or have traction to apply, but you should be committed to working on your startup full-time and open to building fast with direct feedback. YC is industry-agnostic, though most accepted startups are technology-driven and globally scalable.
