Description

Conviction Embed is a highly selective early-stage startup program run by Conviction, a venture firm focused on AI-native and “Software 3.0” companies. Embed brings together a small cohort of technically strong founding teams and provides a rich mix of capital, compute credits, expert mentorship, and community support aimed at building breakthrough AI products. Participants receive an investment of approximately US $250,000 on uncapped, no-discount MFN SAFE terms, plus generous credits (e.g., AWS, Azure, OpenAI, Anthropic) and access to AI tooling and strategic partners. While the experience includes a mandatory in-person retreat in San Francisco and an investor Demo Day, the program also supports remote participation and weekly cohort interactions. Embed’s network includes top founders and executives from leading tech companies, giving founders deep access to learning and connections.

Eligibility

Conviction Embed is designed for founders who: - Are building AI-native or Software 3.0 startups, especially those applying advanced models or pushing frontier use cases. - Are at the very early pre-seed to seed stage, whether pre-revenue, pre-incorporation, or with some initial prototype/traction. - Are committed to working intensely with a small cohort, sharing progress and learning together. - Can participate in the San Francisco retreat and Demo Day, even if much of the program is virtual. - Are eager to leverage both capital and credits for cloud, compute, and AI services to accelerate product development. The program is highly competitive and seeks founders with strong technical depth, vision, and execution ability.
