Description

Mosaic Accelerator Fall 2026 is a 10-week online accelerator for intersectional women, transgender and non-binary founders, focused on building sustainable businesses through revenue rather than venture funding. Two eight-person cohorts are offered: one for founders moving from idea to first revenue, and another for businesses already in market that need to restart growth. The program combines weekly sessions, AI-supported business building, customer acquisition, pricing and operational systems with access to experienced operators through Mosaic's “Village.” Australian founders are explicitly eligible. Applications close 9 October 2026.

Eligibility

- Designed for intersectional women, transgender and non-binary founders; Mosaic says applicants self-identify and are not required to prove their identity. - Open to founders anywhere in the world, with no Canadian residency or citizenship requirement. - Both idea-stage founders and existing businesses are supported through separate cohort tracks. - Requires approximately 5–8 hours per week for 10 weeks. - Sessions are conducted online via Zoom from 12–2 PM Pacific Time. - The cohort is paid: Cohort Core costs C$1,950, while Cohort Deep costs C$3,200. Two half-price C$975 supported places are available per cohort

Fit notes

Good fit if

  • Australian founders from the target communities who want structured support getting from idea to first revenue.
  • Existing small businesses whose revenue has stalled and need help identifying their growth constraint.
  • Founders who prefer customer and revenue development over a VC fundraising-focused accelerator.

Probably skip if

  • Founders primarily looking for investment or non-dilutive funding.
  • Venture-backed startups looking for investor introductions or a traditional Demo Day.

Why it matters

The differentiation is its unusually small cohorts of seven or eight founders and practical focus on customers, pricing, margins and revenue. However, founders pay C$1,950–C$3,200, there is no immediate funding, and the program is deliberately positioned away from the traditional VC accelerator model.
